Publication

This report presents papers from US Institute of Peace conference on external and internal challenges to the promotion of US interests and values around the globe in the 21st century. The conference program focuses on national security and international conflict management as well as on regions of special concern for the US, including Russia, the Balkans and Northeast Asia. Further issues are US foreign policy in the era of globalization, fundamental national security management in the US and the search for peace in the post-Cold War world.
