This paper examines the role of NATO in the regional security of the South Caucasus. It considers security related issues in the South Caucasus with a focus on the military situation in the region. Further, the paper also analyzes the role of the NATO Partnership for Peace (PfP) in the South Caucasus and concludes with a set of policy recommendations for NATO and the South Caucasus states.
