This paper examines the August 2007 bombing incident in Georgia. The first part provides a narrative chronology of the incident and the subsequent related developments. The second analyzes the implications of the event and the various reactions to it. The third and final section consists of a series of 11 appendices, consisting of Georgian, Russian and international documents relevant to the incident, including not least the two sets of expert reports from the site as well as the press release of the Russian investigation team.
