This paper looks at internal and external tensions Muslim communities face in UK society. The article provides an overall picture of the situation of young Muslims. It also identifies key issues that affect the communities in the UK, for example, recruitment into extremism. The author proposes practical steps to defuse extremism, improve community relations and enhance dialogue with the Muslim community.
