In principle, the fact that a diplomatic agreement in the conflict over Iran's nuclear program remains possible should be seen as a positive. At any rate, the other two possible options - preventing Iran by military means from acquiring nuclear weapons, or simply letting Tehran continue on its path - are considerably worse.
