From 4-6 June 2018, representatives from the fields of security policy and civil protection met for the fourth trilateral workshop “D-A-CH Protection of Critical Infrastructures (SKI / KRITIS)”. This year's workshop took place in Bonn and was organized by the German Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK), the Austrian Federal Chancellery, the Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior (BM.I), the Swiss Federal Office for Civil Protection (BABS) and the Center for Security Studies (CSS) at ETH Zurich. The aim of the workshop was to further debate on current approaches and challenges in the field of critical infrastructure protection and to benefit from the different experiences made in the three respective countries. In addition, the workshop served to exchange views on international developments and cross-border challenges.
