Welcome to the new Security Watch

7 May 2012

The ISN is relaunching an old favorite: Security Watch.

Despite working with a comprehensive and prismatic Editorial Plan – coupled with the development of a new approach to blogging – we have decided to re-launch an old favorite.

We are pleased to announce that Security Watch returns to the roster of ISN products and look forward to providing you with a comprehensive overview of contemporary security issues. However, the new Security Watch is altogether different from its previous incarnation. Firstly, this Security Watch will be closely aligned to the weekly content of our Editorial Plan and blog. Where our Editorial Plan continues to analyze the changes shaping our international system at the macro level, Security Watch will complement the weekly story by focusing upon specific regional issues. In this respect, by specifically focusing upon current developments Security Watch will also complement the contemporary nature of our blog.

It is important to mention that the new Security Watch has a very different format. Security Watch will now become a daily feature of our online content. Over the course of the week we will present a selection of publications, multimedia materials and specially-commissioned articles. The new Security Watch will be comprehensive and informed by our growing list of guest writers and expert commentators. It also provides us with opportunities to work more closely with our ever-expanding network of partners to ensure that their perspectives inform our weekly focus. We hope you enjoy the new format just as much as the materials provided and welcome any comments or suggestions.
