The Virtual Caliphate: ISIS´s Information Warfare

After thoroughly examining the information warfare strategy and practices of the so-called Islamic State (IS), Harleen Gambhir concludes that the group will most likely continue to align its military and information operations in the future, although it is possible that it may create a ‘Virtual Caliphate’ that operates exclusively on its own.
