This paper reviews the status of Syrian refugees in Turkey. Since they’re not going home anytime soon, the text’s authors argue, it’s time for Ankara to figure out how it’s going to provide its guests with better settlement and integration opportunities. That’s not going to be easy, however, especially given the limitations of Turkey’s existing “protection capacity” and its still nascent integration policies.
