This report examines the threat posed by a resurgent Russia to NATO’s northeast region. More specifically, the text’s authors 1) consider what impact a bellicose Russia could have on Poland’s security, and 2) recommend ways to reform the country’s defenses accordingly. These adjustments are necessary, the authors continue, because NATO now faces a greater threat of war in its eastern regions than at any time since the end of the Cold War.
