This report analyzes security and stability in Bangladesh over the period August 2005 to March 2006. It finds that Bangladesh suffered from bouts of terrorism, political impass, the failure of judicial institutions and poor economic performance. The report discusses additionally Bangladesh's external relations with India, Pakistan, China, the West and international organizations.
