This report investigates the December 2005 terrorist attack at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) campus in Bangalore, Karnataka. It notes that terrorists belonging to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) carried out the attack, killing one scientist and injuring five others. The author argues the attack demonstrates the ambitions of terrorists to break the economic and scientific pillars of Indian society.
