This report compares the agendas and propensity for political violence of insurgent movements in Kashmir, Sri Lanka and Aceh. It discusses the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) and the Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) and the Free Aceh Movement (GAM). The report details each movement's background and aspirations and then presents transcripts of expert discussion sessions.
