This conference report provides information on the discussions held at the "Small Arms and the Humanitarian Community" meeting in November 2001 in Nairobi, Kenya. The conference addressed the impact of small arms proliferation on humanitarian issues and the humanitarian community, and sought ways to improve arms control and conflict prevention measures.
