This book discusses various topics related to conflict management and post-conflict reconstruction. It analyzes existing intervention strategies in theory as well as in practical cases. While most of the chapters address the international community, some specific countries are examined as well. Furthermore, the book discusses the role of the local community in post-conflict reconstruction, security sector reform, and the establishment of functioning legal institutions.
