This publication gives an overview of the financial crisis' impact on Asian economies and their policy responses. The author begins with a short analysis of the state of Asian economies prior to the collapse of Lehman Brothers. He identifies Asian vulnerabilities during the crisis and examines the governments' reactions to the crisis. The last section is devoted to lessons learned.
