This issue of Russia in Global Affairs examines the economic and political reshuffle after the financial crisis. It discusses different strategies to deal with the crisis and the new world architecture that is under construction. It takes a closer look at Russia's economic, legal and security relations with the EU and examines possible fields of cooperation and of clashing interests such as the energy markets. It also drafts scenarios for the development of some of the difficult areas in Russia's proximity and discusses ways to build and re-build nations.
