This monograph explains the content of the African Human Security Initiative and addresses the situation of crime in Zambia. The authors describe the incidence, nature and extent of crime and surveys the victims. They explain the links to corruption, drug trafficking, money laundering, human trafficking and illegal migration in the country. They also talks about criminal gangs and organized crime. In the latter chapters they describe the Zambian prison service and refers to regional and international conventions against crime.
