This monograph reviews the human rights and criminal justice system in Sierra Leone. It offers a backgrounder on Sierra Leone’s police and its institutional framework. It goes on to describe the constitutional framework of the prosecution services in Sierra Leone. It also addresses the situation of prisons in the country, the judiciary and the access to justice.
