This paper finds that it is time for a rapprochement between Iran, its neighbors and the West. The author suggests that concessions need to be made on all sides: Iran needs to obtain recognition of its system of government and its role as a regional power while, on the other hand there needs to be comprehensive and strict controls of the Iranian nuclear program.
