This paper discusses the actions of the Russian government against the company Yukos and its owner Mikhail Khodorkovsky. The author presents the motives behind the 'Yukos affair,' its evolution and its significance and implications for Russian politics and economy. He also sheds light on the history of the company and its owner. The document contains Polish and English versions of the study.
