This paper reviews Pakistan's vulnerability to nuclear terrorism and the consequences of transporting radioactive material. It uses the hypothetical cases of radioactive materials being sabotaged during transportation to Karachi and Lahore. The author discusses Pakistan’s response to nuclear terrorism and the further need of improvements, arguing that controls exist to defer and delay attacks of nuclear installation and radioactive facilities. The paper concludes that fabrication of a Radiological Dispersion Device (RDD) and WMD is not very attractive to a terrorist group in general and specifically within the context of Pakistan.
