The second interim report of the Independent Inquiry Committee into the United Nations Oil-for-Food Programme presents the investigative findings and initial conclusions in the case of alleged unethical practices in conjunction with the UN program in Iraq. The second report addresses the role of the Swiss company Cotecna Inspection SA in the UN program and analyzes the propriety of Cotecna's UN business contract. The report also examines the role of the UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, his son Kojo Annan, and other UN officials in their dealings with Cotecna Inspection SA. The final version of the report is expected for summer 2005.
