This publication assesses whether Australia ought to continue providing assistance to the power-sharing government in Zimbabwe or reduce its commitments until a more acceptable government is in place. The authors argue that as external assistance can help sustain momentum for reform, Australia should continue its assistance in select areas where it has a comparative advantage. These include sport, microfinance and agricultural and food security.
