This commentary assesses prospects for the normalization of Turkish-Armenian relations. It notes that the complex politics of the Caucasus region are likely to impede full normalization, with Russia's ambiguous stance and Azerbaijan's opposition to the process hindering progress. The author also discusses the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh and Turkey's foreign policy as impacting upon the likelihood of success.
