This paper provides a report card for the Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) program in Malawi and concludes that the disability alleviation program is highly relevant as compared to international and national standards for CBR. The authors find that there is significant variation with regard to the programme's ability to respond to different types of disability and concludes that this specific program is both well managed and sustainable.
