This document, jointly issued by the King Baudouin Foundation (KBF) and the EPC, aims to address key developments in the field of migration and integration policies. The authors examine the role of the Common Basic Principles on integration (CBP), which provide a common European reference for the implementation and evaluation of EU integration policy. The group describes the various positive features of the CBP and concludes that they provide an encouraging first step towards establishing a functioning EU integration policy.
