The third interim report of the Independent Inquiry Committee into the United Nations Oil-for-Food Programme presents the investigative findings and initial conclusions in the case of alleged unethical practices in conjunction with the UN program in Iraq. The third report addresses the conduct of Benon Sevan, the former director of the program, as well as the conduct of Alexander Yakovlev, a former procurement officer. The report accuses Sevan and Yakovlev of corruption and states that both benefited from the UN program by illegally accepting or soliciting bribes.
