Dec 2009
This publication provides an overview of the multiple ways that agriculture impacts and is impacted by climate change. The author argues that sustainable farming systems can reduce agricultural greenhouse gas emissions, and be a primary vehicle to stabilize and reverse climate change. He notes that achieving climate-friendly agricultural systems will require a shift away from industrialized fossil-fuel intensive methods toward low-input, resilient practices.
