This issue of the SUR Journal features articles on natural resources and human rights. The topics covered include 1) the role of law in preventing exploitation; 2) the role of the state and private enterprise in exploiting natural resources; 3) natural resource exploitation and climate change; and 4) the role of individuals in protecting natural resources.
