This paper explores the challenge of securing the survival and progressive reintegration of internally displaced populations in Angola in the aftermath of its civil war. It reviews the causes of their displacement and complex issues surrounding their return and resettlement. The author contends that Angola's recovery is a complex process that must include interventions in the economic, social and administrative sectors.
