This Policy Brief looks at the debate in India over nuclear testing and the development of its nuclear deterrent. It then offers an assessment of whether India will conduct further nuclear tests and concludes by considering the likelihood that India will sign the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) in the near future.
