When Herman Van Rompuy convened the informal European Council on 11 February, the session was meant to improve the participation of Member States’ leaders in the process of the shaping post-Lisbon strategy. In fact, the talks were dominated by the need for a common position on the question of possible financial support for Greece. However, details are yet to be released.
