In 2000, President Clinton suggested the presence of an international force to oversee security following an Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement. The suggestion of a NATO presence in the Middle East sparked a debate that up to now has never dealt with practical questions of feasibility, campaign objectives, and security implications. This paper thus revolves around these operational questions.
