The three major political forces in the UK have fairly similar foreign policy platforms. The most distinctive are the Conservatives’ views on the membership of the EU and on the Common Security and Defence policy (CSDP). Yet these differences are not significant enough to warrant expectations of far-reaching changes in a Tory government’s foreign policy.
