This monograph contains papers that were presented at the International Conference on Climate Change and Natural Resources Conflicts in Africa, held in Uganda in May 2009. The papers are from different disciplines and draw case studies from across Africa. They cover a range of issues relating to vulnerabilities, adaptation and mitigation of climate change and conflict management. Information provided in this monograph is expected to form the basis for decision makers across Africa to formulate and implement appropriate policies to curb the impacts of climate change.
