Publication

This report summarizes the discussion of a workshop held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in mid-April 2010. The workshop explored the linkages and the latest developments in two distinct but related issues: the rapid expansion of interest and activity in acquiring nuclear energy, and the enduring global imperative of preventing the proliferation of nuclear technology for weapons and other noncivilian purposes. The goal of the workshop was to bring experts from these two fields together, and to examine trends and future prospects in “nuclear dangers, nuclear realities.”
