This note offers a preliminary analysis of country scores on the FY10 control of corruption indicator. The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) seeks to engage with countries that rule justly, invest in their people, and promote economic freedom. While the MCC takes into account 17 different measures of these important principles in its selection process, it is control of corruption that stands as the only hard hurdle, meaning that a country must pass it in order to become eligible.
