This publication, also known as the "Abuja Agreement", is a peace agreement signed in May 2006 by the largest rebel group (the Sudan Liberation Movement) and the Sudanese Government is an effort to achieve peace in Darfur. It addresses the long-standing marginalization of Darfur, and charts a path for lasting peace.
