This is a transcript of the speech President Robert Nixon delivered on November 3, 1969 in which he outlined his policy for "Vietnamization" of the war in Vietnam. The term refers to Nixon's plan of encouraging the South Vietnamese to engage more actively in the ongoing war so the US could start withdrawing troops.
