This publication is a transcript of the speech given by US President Ronald Reagan to the people of West Berlin in June 1987, two years prior to the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. "Tear down this wall" is widely held to be one of the most memorable lines spoken during President Reagan's presidency.
