This report covers the period from September 2007 to January 2009 and provides an update to the follow-up to the conclusions of the Working Group on Children and Armed Conflict of June 2007 and October 2008. The report provides information on the compliance of parties to the conflict with Security Council resolutions 1539 (2004) and 1612 (2005), and describes incidents and trends of grave violations of children’s rights by State and non-State actors.
