General Petraeus, commander of NATO forces in Afghanistan in a recent interview with American journalist, Martha Raddatz from ABC America, said that the war in this rugged land is 'just beginning'. That it 'will take years' for the war in Afghanistan to be over. So, nine years after the initial successful toppling of the Taliban (2001), we find that we are back to where we started.
