This paper examines how the views of security analysts from the global South could be better incorporated into the concept of 'sustainable security.' The paper brings together perspectives from the four regional security consultations held between September 2008 – January 2010, highlighting the factors that are common across the regions as well as those that are distinctive to particular areas.
