Since making its transition to democracy in 1990, Nepal has experienced considerable political and social turmoil. The country was plunged into civil war after Maoist insurgents launched a revolution against the state between 1996 and 2006. This report aims to support the development and implementation of successful and sustainable gender-sensitive integration and rehabilitation policy and programming in Nepal.
