The Security & Defence Agenda (SDA) and the European Organisation for Security (EOS) are proud to present this report on "A new partnership for European security" following the international conference held on 10 February 2011 in Brussels. Whilst focusing on four main areas of concern – border security, disaster control and civil protection, cybersecurity and transport infrastructure protection – the conference highlighted that existing EU resources and funding of operations need to be better used to ensure the more rapid implementation of security policies.
