The Task Force aimed to shed new light on the main aspects of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID). The report is therefore an attempt to make a thoughtful qualitative and quantitative analysis of the major problems at stake and where feasible, to put forward proposals that take into account market developments and reflect the latest findings in the academic literature.
