The EU has launched the Strategic Energy Technology (SET) Plan, essentially to push low-carbon energy technologies. Yet important decisions are still to be taken, with financing being one of them. This CEPS Task Force Report and its accompanying policy recommendations are intended to serve as a contribution to the ongoing EU discussions in a number of strategic areas such as the EU’s growth strategy, the EU’s role in climate change policy and the new EU budget.
