This is a transcript of an event held on 20 July at Chatham House with Jeremy Browne MP, Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The Minister discussed how Britain should respond to the rise of countries countries such as China, India and Brazil and the new world order that is emerging. He argued that, while Britain today remains a significant global power, it will need to be more competitive and innovative in the coming years if it is to remain so.
