This note list the inquiries established under the UK Inquiries Act 2005 and, provides some assessments of the impact of the Act. The Inquiries Act 2005 made significant changes to the system of public inquiries in the UK including the repeal of the Tribunals of Inquiry (Evidence) Act 1921 which had formed the main basis for statutory inquiries over some 80 years.
